Sometimes I feel like TV doesn't try anymore

For instance, take this graphic of an accident with an overturned dumptruck on "News 14 Carolina". I feel like I could have made a more impressive graphic for this traffic report 20 years ago. Honestly, this is terrible.

But then again...maybe this is the best I can expect from North Carolina television?
