DC: Taxation without representation
Was in DC over the long weekend and saw a few DC license plates with the motto "taxation without representation" and was fairly certain that this was some sort of joke. Turns out this wasn't the case, and that's the real slogan for their license plates. I love it.
Hmmm...where do I begin. Well...driving down there I saw the gas prices slowly begin to increase. It started in the high $2's through MA and CT, then leveled off to a sweet $2.89 in NJ...by the time I was in Virginia gas was a delicious $3.05-$3.91. The gas station called "Lowest Prices gas" was at $3.49 while the BP across from it was something like $3.15. Morons. So, 9 hours to DC with a few stops, not bad, eh?
In Arlington, Andy's got a nice place. But a building might fall on his building any moment. There were knocking down a perfectly good building, still with furniture in it, across the street from his place. My car is now caked in cement dust. Thanks, Andy.

Andy's roommate had a shotglass checker set. So i played some of that. Normal pieces were shots of beer, while kings were shots of Jack. Bad idea.

I think there's now a shot glass stuck in Andy's garbage disposal, but I know nothing about that...
The next morning there were hot dog omlets that Andy made.

We saw some sights...

We went to the zoo...

We saw a tiger playing with a keg:

And a hilarious prairie dog:

And emily rode a bear:

Full pics can be seen here.
But anyways, DC was fun. Gas prices are terrible. My car is caked in cement...and I have a blood test tomorrow. Fun shtuff.
